The concrete floor of The Atrium at Nims Lake was poured on Thursday, September 10th and the last stone was secured to the chimney on Sunday thus climaxing the end of heavy construction. Tim and his friend Eric, still have to grout the stonework and seal the stone. They’ll then change their focus to installing lights inside the Atrium. We’ve already started preparing flower gardens and need to hook up two cedar swings. Hopefully, the work should be done by the end of September. The next phase of the project involves painting the gazebo and planting fall flowers around the entire area. We are planning to host our first event in early November, when we hold the rehearsal dinner for Jake (Tim and Lise’s son) and his fiancé. It should be a spectacular event.
